Lead-Free & RoHS Compliant
Golden West Technology supports customer requirements for lead-free and RoHS-compliant assemblies. To meet these needs, GWT has:
- Installed a new Technical Devices flow solder machine for lead-free soldering
- Added a Heller oven that accommodates lead-free boards (including larger formats)
- Deployed software and procedures to ensure due diligence for RoHS compliance
- Implemented IPC-1752 part validation when required
- Invested in IPC training and certification for lead-free assembly
- Added dedicated “green” lead-free workstations
