Golden West Technology is proud to announce a new addition to their staff, Juan Martinez. Juan has decided to join Golden West Technology as our new Quality Manager. He has been working in the medical labs and consumer electronics industries in the area of quality for approximately 15 years. GWT is fortunate to have identified a key person who has the skills and experience to lead our diverse inspection group as well as capably maintain and develop our well established Quality System centered around ISO9001 and AS9100D. We know it’s all in good hands!

GWT has done it again! We successfully navigated through a rigorous 4-day audit event with our quality partner NSF-ISR. It was particularly gratifying because it was our 20 year Anniversary of having a successful quality system in place. This year’s audit by our registrar NSF-ISR was very challenging because it was a 4-day start of the contract audit that tests all facets of the organization. At the beginning of our 20 year span, GWT saw an organic process of originating the system in home grown fashion with the help of CMTC and then adapting frequently over the two decade period. Just in the last few years, we have come full circle with a total & fresh renovation of the system to achieve a Quality Manual that is realigned closely with the newest ISO-9001 and AS9100 standards issued in 2015 & 2016.

Golden West Technology is proud to announce a new addition to their staff, Scott Morse. Scott has decided to join Golden West Technology as Director of Sales. He has been working in the electronic distribution and manufacturing industry for over 30 years, Scott has held positions as Field Sales, Sales Management, and Branch Manager primarily at Arrow and Avnet. He also held a position of N.A. Distribution and Sales Operations Manager for Taiwan Semiconductor. We feel his extensive experience and industry contacts will be a great asset for our customers as well as for our Company’s growth strategy.

For the last 8 years, GWT has continually taken steps to comply with Aerospace/Defense industry requirements to have ITAR procedures and protections in place to better serve our Customers. We continue to protect our Customer’s documents and be very cautious and deliberate with who we do business with because in many ways, we know the value and significance of our Customer’s technologies and designs. We thank all our Customer’s for the trust they place in us and further realize that this is almost our patriotic duty to do our job conscientiously well.

For nearly a decade, GWT has participated year-in and year-out at the MD&M West Trade Show, located at the Anaheim Convention Center. GWT takes the unique approach of manning its booth with hands-on professionals like Gene Agron, Sales Development, Derek Bannon, our company�s Quality Manager, Mike Kutzle, Purchasing Manager, and Russell Rieth, our current President. We were enthusiastically displaying PCBAs and assemblies from our very own customer markets like medical, aerospace and industrial as well as speaking to industry professionals and contacts at this well attended trade show.
