Golden West Technology has purchased a state of the art pick & place machine from Yamaha/Amistar Automation�specifically the Yamaha I-Pulse M20. The machine is Yamaha�s newest and most powerful machine technology… allowing for a new level of quality, speed, ease of use, and true flexibility to be obtained by our automated pick and place operation. GWT thanks Yamaha/Amistar for this incredible piece of new equipment and their expertise in getting it up and running very quickly!

Golden West Technology has successfully passed its 3-day, maintenance audit with NSF-ISR; and therefore is free to continue on with what�s left of the 3 year registration term in compliance with rigorous standards�ISO-9001 and AS9100. Golden West Technology thanks NSF-ISR for their diligence and professionalism as well as GWT�s own Derek Bannon, Quality Manager, for his excellent navigation through the 3-day audit. The work doesn�t stop as GWT will be upgrading the quality system to AS9100 rev D by next year.

For nearly a decade, GWT has participated year-in and year-out at the MD&M West Trade Show, located at the Anaheim Convention Center. GWT takes the unique approach of manning its booth with hands-on professionals like Gene Agron, Sales Development, Derek Bannon, our company�s Quality Manager, Mike Kutzle, Purchasing Manager, and Russell Rieth, our current President. We were enthusiastically displaying PCBAs and assemblies from our very own customer markets like medical, aerospace and industrial as well as speaking to industry professionals and contacts at this well attended trade show.
